GTC is regulated by approximately a dozen federal and state regulatory agencies. We comply fully with all regulations, often exceeding mandated requirements.
The Rural Utilities Service
The Rural Utilities Service (RUS), under the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is the lead federal agency for cooperatives, providing infrastructure assistance in electricity, water and telecommunications.
The public-private partnership between RUS and these utilities results in billions of dollars in infrastructure development, improvements to quality of life, and thousands of new jobs.
